Adding the 31st set 'Country's Unbroken Circle' marks the end of an era for our family. Gabriel Communications (Larry Black) is no longer producing the shows on DVDs. From now on you can only watch the new ones by 'Streaming'. I'm 80 now and technology has passed me by, (I still have a 'Flip Phone'), I have no clue what Streaming is or how to do it. My oldest son does it but he is 600 miles away, unless he comes down and sets it up for us we are done watching the Country's Family Reunion shows. We are so sad, we have enjoyed watching them for the past 20 years.
I want somehing physical I can hold in my hand, place on a turntable or in a machine, press a button and hear it or watch it. I want to read the jacket, sleeve, or case and undestand what I'm listening to or watching.
I guess I'm just old fashioned. Like I said, I guess technology has passed me by.
A few years back Adam Black (Larry's son) contacted me and asked if I could provide a list of all the songs that had been performed on the shows. I happily provided the text file for him. As thanks for my help I just received not only the 'Country's Unbroken Circle' set for free (we had purchased every set up until this one), but also a Larry's Country Diner Cup, a Nadine Cup, a neat little book about the Diner and most precious of all one of the Posters signed by the Artists who performed on the show. Unbelieveable. What a wonderful surprise. Thank you so very much Larry Black and company. What a treasure for our family. Now we need to have it nicely framed.

Larry Black did every Country Music fan a great service by coming up with the idea of gathering together the Artists and people who produced the music in various settings and themes. One of the best decision he made in his professional life was choosing Bill Anderson to be the host, (moderator, traffic cop, call him what you may), but nobody could do a better job than Bill does at keeping the conversations and music flowing smoothly.
The songs are great, the comments, stories and history are stupendous.
The total length of the 136 DVDs of the shows, is approximately 170 hours and 49 minutes. Plus there is 25 DVDs of Backstage/Others, which is approximately 31 hours and 47 minutes.
To watch all of the shows straight through without sleep, plan on staying up for 7 days & 3 hours.
As of May 16, 2019, 75 people who have been on the Country's Family Reunion Shows have passed away. THE LIST IS HERE
Besides Bill Anderson only one artist has been all but 2 of the Country Family Reunion shows, Bill wasn't on Grassroots To Bluegrass.
There are 3 artists who have only missed 3 of the Reunion shows.
