Errors in the listing of Characters in the Fantagraphics Volum 5 Index
the Numbers after the Character name indicate Page Numberes
The Index for Volume 5 has a few errors, symantics are the main problem, Bugs that should be Bug, Birds that should be Bird.
Pagonia and her children, Pogo's Nephews and Niece that are grouuped into one bunch instead of listing the individual characters.
The Index lists the following: possums other [Pogonia, Piedmont, Porkchop, Pollywig, Pockaboo, Pondboat, The, Hon., Professor, Perambulator, , Beowulf
It lists those for the following pages:
57, 58, 59, 60, 61, 64, 65, 68, 69, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 79, 80, 81, 83, 84, 85, 86, 88, 89, 90, 91
I can identify:
Pogonia (Pogo's Sister) who appears on: 57, 58, 65, 69, 81, 84, 88, 90, 91
Beowulf (Pogp's Brother-In-Law) who appears on: 88, 89, 90, 91
Marilyn Monroe /Mrs. Arthur Miller (Pogo's Niece) who appears on: 60, 61, 71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 82, 83, 84, 85, 88
Piedmont Possum (Pogo's Nephew) who appears on: 88, 89, 90, 91
That leaves the following Possums that are not identified: PPorkchop, Pollywig, Pockaboo
Below are the three Nephews that I have not been able to find names of:
